Do I need an internet connection?
Section titled “Do I need an internet connection?”No. Stamppa works offline; it connects only to confirm your license: when you open it and when you ask it to, never in the background. It can go up to a year without internet (a month on the monthly plan) and keep working. It never sends your documents. When it opens, at most once a day, it also checks whether a new version exists; you can turn that off. See License and account.
Do I need an account?
Section titled “Do I need an account?”Only for the trial and a license: you sign in with your email and a 6-digit code, no password. Reader mode (view, search, print and basic comments) needs no account.
Are my drawings uploaded anywhere?
Section titled “Are my drawings uploaded anywhere?”No. There is no cloud. Files are opened and saved on your computer; your account only holds your license.
Does it work with drawings from AutoCAD or Revit?
Section titled “Does it work with drawings from AutoCAD or Revit?”Yes, with the PDFs they produce. Hidden CAD layers stay hidden: Stamppa keeps the layer table when it stamps or edits.
Can I see markups made in Bluebeam or Acrobat?
Section titled “Can I see markups made in Bluebeam or Acrobat?”Yes. Markups are standard PDF annotations, so they show in both directions. You can also move them between files as XFDF (Review ▸ Markups ▸ Import markups (XFDF)… and Export markups (XFDF)…). Page scales set in Bluebeam or Acrobat are read too.
Will the stamp land on top of the drawing?
Section titled “Will the stamp land on top of the drawing?”Not unless you let it. Before a run, Stamppa looks for clear space on each sheet and, with auto-avoid on, moves the stamp there. It warns you about any sheet where it can’t find room.
Is redaction safe?
Section titled “Is redaction safe?”Redaction removes the text, picture pixels and linework under each area, and each page is checked for text left in the areas before it is saved. Still, open the result and check it before you share it.
Does it run on a Mac?
Section titled “Does it run on a Mac?”Yes, on Apple Silicon (M1 and newer) with macOS 12 or later. Intel Macs: contact us.

Section titled “Linux?”Not yet. Tell us if you need it.
What happens when the trial ends?
Section titled “What happens when the trial ends?”Stamppa stays as a reader (view, search, print and basic comments) until you sign in with a license. Your files, templates and settings are kept.
