End-user license agreement

Version 1.0 · October 2026

This agreement is between you (or the organization you install Stamppa for) and Plano Base Arquitectos S.A.S., a company registered in Colombia (“we”), the maker of Stamppa. By installing or using Stamppa you accept it. If you don’t, don’t install or use it.

1. Your account

A license belongs to an account, which is an email address. You sign in with a one-time code sent to that email. Keep access to your email; whoever controls it controls the license. An account is for one person: don’t share it.

2. What you may do

  • Reader mode, without a license. Without an account or a license, you may use Stamppa free as a PDF viewer: view, search, print, see markups and add basic comments (notes, highlights, clouds). Other features are locked.
  • Trial. You may use every feature free for 14 days to evaluate Stamppa, once per email and per computer. The trial starts when you sign in with your email. Students and faculty may use Stamppa free for study and teaching.
  • Subscription license. With a paid license you may use Stamppa within the edition you bought (Solo, Team or Site). The license is a subscription, billed once a year at the same price, or once a month, that renews automatically until you cancel it. We email you 30 days before each yearly renewal, and you can cancel in one click. It is non-exclusive and non-transferable, except as allowed below.
  • Up to 3 computers per person. Each person may use Stamppa on up to 3 computers at once. To use it on another one, you sign one of them out, from the app or from My account. Signing computers out from another computer is limited to 3 times every 12 months; we may allow more on request.
  • Team and Site seats. A Team or Site license has one seat per person. A seat is personal and may not be shared or transferred, except that the license administrator may reassign it to another person in My account. A Site license may cover everyone with the organization’s email domain.
  • Confirming the license; working offline. Stamppa connects to our license server only when it opens and when you act (sign in, renew, change computers, sign out) to confirm your license; it never sends your documents or usage data. It must connect at least once a year on a yearly plan and once a month on a monthly plan, with a grace period of 14 and 5 days respectively. If it can’t, it falls back to reader mode until it connects again. For a computer without internet you may download a key file in My account, bound to that computer and valid until the end date written in it.
  • Versions: what you keep. While your subscription is paid, it covers the newest version we release. On a yearly plan, when it ends, the newest version released while it was paid (for example, Stamppa 27, with all the updates we release for it, including those released after it ends) stays yours to use forever, with every feature, and you can download it from My account. On a monthly plan, the version current on the day you complete 12 months paid in a row stays yours in the same way. A month left unpaid after the payment retries starts that count over; if you pay the missing months, we may restore it. A refunded period or a chargeback earns no version; without any paid period, or before 12 months paid in a row on a monthly plan, Stamppa works only in reader mode.

3. What you may not do

  • Share your account or sign-in codes, use one seat for more than one person, or use more seats than you bought.
  • Sell, rent, publish or copy key files, or use a key file on a computer other than the one it was made for.
  • Remove or get around the license check, set your computer’s clock back to extend a license, or modify the program to do so.
  • Reverse-engineer or decompile Stamppa, except where the law gives you that right regardless of this agreement.

4. Your files

Your drawings and documents are yours. Stamppa works on them on your computer and does not send them to us or anyone else. What the license server keeps about your account is described in the privacy statement.

5. Updates

When it opens, at most once a day, Stamppa can check whether a new version exists (you can turn this off). It only tells you and opens our download page; it never downloads or installs anything by itself.

6. Third-party components

Stamppa includes open-source components (for example Qt, under the LGPL) that remain under their own licenses, listed in the app. Nothing in this agreement limits your rights under those licenses.

7. Check your work

Stamppa is a tool. You remain responsible for checking stamps, measurements, quantities, comparisons, redactions and signatures before you rely on them or issue documents. Before sharing a redacted file, open it and check it.

8. No warranty

To the extent the law allows, Stamppa is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. Some places don’t allow these exclusions, so they may not all apply to you.

9. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Stamppa in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Purchases, renewals and refunds

Licenses are sold through Polar, our reseller and merchant of record, whose terms apply to the purchase and to each renewal. You can cancel at any time; the license then runs to the end of the period you paid for. You can ask for a refund within 14 days of your first purchase or of a yearly renewal. Monthly renewals are not refunded, except when we charged you by mistake. After a refund your license keeps working for 5 more days, in case you change your mind, and then stops; Stamppa stays as a free reader. Details are in the refund policy. A refunded period earns no version; if you had paid for an earlier period, you keep the version you earned with it. A key file already downloaded for a computer without internet keeps working until the end date written in it.

11. Ending this agreement

You may stop using Stamppa at any time. If you break this agreement, we may end your license and close the account. Sections 4 and 7–9 continue after it ends.

12. Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, without limiting any consumer rights you have where you live.
