How it works
Click the text and type
Pick how much to edit
Edit word (Shift+W) for one word, Edit line (X) for the whole line as you see it, or Edit paragraph (Shift+Y) for a block of text.
Click the text and retype it
Type the new words in place. With Edit paragraph the lines flow again inside the paragraph’s width, like in a word processor.
Change the look if you need to
Font, size, bold or italic, color, alignment, indents and line spacing are in the panel while you type. Then save the PDF.

Edit page content moves and deletes the page’s own lines, pictures and text, not just the words.
True redaction
When text has to go for good, redaction removes it from the file, not just from view.
These tools edit text that is really in the PDF. A scan is a picture of text: OCR makes it searchable and copyable, but the picture itself doesn’t change.

Any PDF whose text is real text, which is most PDFs made from Word, CAD or a design program. A scanned page is a picture, so there is no text to edit; OCR makes it searchable, but it doesn’t turn the picture into editable text.
Will the edited text match the rest of the page?
Each piece of text keeps the font, size and color it had, so a corrected word looks like its neighbors. You can also change the font, size and color in the panel as you type.
Does it work on Mac and Windows?
Yes. Edit word, Edit line and Edit paragraph work the same on Windows 10/11 and on Mac (Apple Silicon).
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
